There are a number of ways to get to where you want to go and flight can be the least expensive alternative today. With gas prices climbing every week and the economy experts predicting doom and gloom, it is likely that travel by flight will grow in popularity despite the bad service stories and the increase in prices.

The math tells it all. If you need to go from Alabama to Texas then it will take 14 hours and cost around $400 US in gas alone. A flight to the same location will cost almost that for two but will take a couple of hours (including wait time) instead. It might be more economical to drive if there are several of you traveling together, but the convenience of flight almost makes it worth that little extra cost.

Flight can also be an amazing experience (if the weather cooperates) because of the views offered. While traveling late at night can be less expensive but you miss much of the beauty that traveling by flight can offer. Early morning traveling can also cost less than normal hour tickets. Pre-dawn flights have the opportunity to see a sunrise in a way that few may ever experience.

There are a number of reasons to choose flight as the best way to travel right now. Although the service on most airlines is not what it once was (and never like it is portrayed on television and movies) many of the companies are trying to turn things around when it comes to customer service. Flight also offers you a chance to get to your location much quicker than other means of transportation. And flight is the only travel that offers you a birds-eye-view of the world.
