Online check-in services and Internet boarding passes are available from 48 hours to 2 hours before departure. Seat reservation and voucher issuance services are available from 328 days to 2 days before departure.

Baggage Fees
Carry on
One small suitcase, handbook or laptop is permitted as carry on baggage per passenger. Limitations on carry-on baggage differ depending on the aircraft type, airport regulations and procedures of the destination country.

Checked
A free baggage allowance is determined by the number of items for the U.S. route and seating class. For U.S. routes, the free piece of checked baggage cannot be larger than 158 cm or heavier than 32 kg (70 lbs) for business and first class passengers. And no larger than 158 cm and no heavier than 23 kg (50 lbs) for travel class. For routes other than the U.S., the weight limit is 40 kg (88 lbs) for first class, 30 kg (66 lbs) for business class, and 20 kg (44 lbs) for travel class.

Additional bags
Excess baggage fees are imposed on a fixed rate for each item in excess of 23 kg on U.S. routes and 1.5% of the current full normal economy fare per kilogram for Non-U.S. routes.

Child Fares
For international flights, the infant fare (24 months or younger) is 10% of the public adult fare. No fee is imposed for infants on domestic flights. If the paying adult passenger is accompanied by a single infant, no child fare is charged. Asiana Airlines also provides a baby bassinet for international flight customers accompanied by an infant. Simple meals are provided for infants at the customer's request.

Pet Fees
One adult passenger can carry one pet such as a dog, bird or cat when stored in a pet container no larger than 115 cm. Other live animals such as goldfish, turtles and rats cannot be transported by passenger aircraft and are treated as cargo instead.

Musical instruments larger than 158 cm in total length of all three sides may be subject to excess baggage fees.

In-flight Services
Both business and travel class passengers can enjoy 167-degree reclining seats, SMS/E-mail services, fax services on board, satellite phone access, in-seat power outlets and infant care facilities. Cabin entertainment is also available. Passengers can also enjoy their own movie on board with the Individual Video System (IVS).
