Overview
Aurigny Air Services has been serving the Channel Islands for over 40 years, and is owned by the States of Guernsey. The airline was launched in 1968 and is headquartered in the northern Channel Isle; it has carried over 9 million passengers to date, and offers services between Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney, and to several destinations in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.

Check in
Passengers may check in online or at the terminal. Check in times vary by itinerary, and the desks close 30 minutes before departure. Passengers are encouraged to check in between 30 minutes to an hour before their departure time for most flights.
Baggage
Carry on
Passengers are permitted to take one piece of carryon luggage on each flight with a maximum weight of 17 lbs and dimensions no larger than 17 x 12 x 7 inches. Select inter-island services on the Channel Islands require a maximum weight of 13 lbs. for carryon luggage. Liquids must be stored in individual containers not exceeding 3.5 fl oz., and these must be carried in a separate clear plastic, zip-top or re-sealable bag that is not larger than 8 in. x 8 in.
Checked
Passengers of Aurigny Air Services are permitted to take one checked bag on their flight with a maximum weight of 44 lbs. Some inter-island services on the Channel Islands require a maximum weight of 33 lbs for checked luggage.
Additional bags
Luggage that exceeds the checked baggage weight and size requirements may incur an extra charge per kilogram. Passengers will incur fees of £1 per kilogram for the first 5 kg overweight and then £5 per kilogram per bag. Bags that weigh more than 62 lbs. are not permitted on board any flight, and may need to be shipped separately as cargo.
Passenger change details
Ticket changes can be made online or by phone depending on how the tickets were purchased; passengers who wish to change route or ticket details will need to contact the reservations department. If the tickets were purchased through the airline's website, passengers can log into their account to make modifications up to one hour before the scheduled departure time. Most ticket changes can be made at no additional cost, but fees may be incurred for select tickets that are changed hours before departure.
Child fares
Children under two years of age who can comfortably sit on an accompanying adult's lap can travel for 90 percent off the standard fare. Children over two years of age must pay standard fare prices. Children traveling for free or at an infant fare do not have a baggage allowance.

Pets
Domestic pets are not permitted on any UK-Guernsey or Guernsey-UK flights, or on flights to and from Dinard. Registered guide dogs, hearing dogs and 'service' dogs are permitted to travel on all services except on flights to Dinard. Dogs and cats are permitted to travel on flights between Jersey and Guernsey, Guernsey and Alderney, and Alderney and Southampton. A maximum of 2 dogs per flight from the same household are permitted, and charged their own fare. Pet owners are encouraged to contact the reservations department for specific details about their pet and itinerary.
Carrying Musical Instruments
Musical instruments are permitted on board but may be considered checked luggage if they are too large. Passengers may choose to purchase an extra seat specifically for a large musical instrument; contact the reservations department to determine dimension and weight limitations for your specific instrument.
