Overview
Blue Island Airways is a Channel Islands airline that serves several destinations including the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. The airline was re-branded as Rockhopper in 2003, and was formerly known as Le Cocqs Air Link. The Rockhoppper earned the Jersey Tourism Excellence award for Enterprise in 2005, and has since become one of the most popular airlines to operate the Guernsey-Southampton route.

Passengers may check on up to one hour before departure for all destinations, but cannot arrive later than 40 minutes prior to departure for boarding. Baggage
Carry on
Every passenger may take carryon bags that are no larger than 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm including wheels, handles and pockets. Carry on luggage cannot weigh more than 6 kg
Checked
Checked baggage cannot weigh more than 32 kgs, and cannot be larger than 81 cm x 40.5 cm x 35.5 cm including wheels, handles and pockets.
Additional bags
Every passenger is allowed 20kg of total baggage (including carryon) per flight. Blue Islands does not charge for excess baggage but cannot guarantee that it will be accepted.
Passenger change details
Passengers can make changes to the name on their ticket, flight date and time up to one hour before departure. This can be done at no charge, and passengers may complete changes over the phone or online; passengers can visit the 'my booking' section on the Blue Islands home page, or call the reservations phone number at 08456 20 21 22.
Child fares
Children under two years of age can travel free if they can sit comfortably on an accompanying adult's lap. Children over two years of age must pay the standard flight fare; children who are under eight years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Child fares are offered on flights between Alderney and Bournemouth.

Pets
Blue Islands does accept guide dogs on all flights at no charge, but all passengers must call reservations to provide information about their pet. Dogs and cats weighing less than 11 lbs can typically fly free of charge, but Blue Islands can only accept pets on select flights. Size limits for pet containers stored in the hold of all aircrafts is 20” x 16” x 15”. Prior arrangements must be made with the airline, and animals are not permitted on the Dornier aircraft.
