Overview
Sterling Airlines, otherwise known as Cimber Sterling, is a low-cost airline headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. The airline flies to several destinations in Denmark, Scandinavia and Europe and is famous for its affordable fares and deluxe amenities.

Check-in Information
Check in must be completed at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure on Danish domestic flights, and 45 minutes before scheduled departure on international flights. Check-in opens two hours before departure.

Baggage Fees
Carry on
One piece of carry on no heavier than 8 kg is permitted on each flight, free of charge. This piece of baggage cannot be larger than 50cmx40cmx25cm, for total sum of 115 cm. Business class passengers are permitted to carry one piece of hand baggage no heavier than 30 kg.

Checked
Checked baggage cannot be heavier than 20 kg.

Additional bags
Excess baggage is subject to a charge of 10 EUR per kilogram.

Passenger Change Details
Tickets can be changed at any time for a fee of 400 DKK per person, per segment. Refund is permitted at any time except booking fee.  The name or date can be changed until 3 hour before departure for a fee of 400 DKK per person, per segment. There is no refund available on saver tickets.

Child Fares
Children (2-15 years) are charged 67% of the fare when travelling together with an adult. Infants (0-1 year) have to travel together with an adult.

Infants pay 150,- dkk one-way on Danish Domestic flights, and 300,- dkk one-way on International flights.

Pet Fees
Only dogs and cats are allowed onboard Cimber Sterling flights. The maximum weight of a pet in the cabin is 8 kg including the transportation box, and the box cannot be larger than 50x40x25 cm. The fee for domestic flights is 200 DKK one way per pet and 400 DKK one way per pet for international flights.

Carrying Musical Instruments
Excess baggage fees may apply for large musical instruments. Passengers should contact the reservation center to determine the total fee based on the size of the instrument.

In-flight Services
Passengers are offered one free cup of coffee, tea or water, one piece of chocolate (or other snack), and the daily newspaper on each flight. Passengers can purchase additional items on international flights depending on the flight time.
