Swim with the Dolphins
Register for a dolphin encounter experience where you can ride across the ocean and touch and play with dolphins first hand.  The boats depart from Paradise Island ferry terminal in Paradise Island, and you'll get to see dozens of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins up close.

Visit the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas
This restored villa dates back to the 1860s and now houses dozens of paintings, ceramics, sculptures and other notable art works of famous Bahamian artists.  Head here for a relaxing afternoon and take a guided tour of the grounds to make the most of the experience.  The museum is located at W. Hill and West Streets in Villa Doyle, Nassau.

Attend the Junkanoo Expo
This Mardi-Gras style event takes place from December 26 through January 1, but you can visit the museum to see the fantastic costumes, elaborate floats and handmade masks that play a leading role in the festivities any time of year.  The museum is located at Prince George Wharf in Festival Place.

Take the Runaway Safari
This locally run safari will take you through the country roads and backwoods of the forest to see dozens of animals and native plants in their natural habitats.  It's a fun eco adventure across the island, and begins at Sandyport Resort in Nassau.
