Visit the Atomium Museum
It's the most-recognized symbol of Brussels, and is worth a trip to the Boulevard du Centenaire, even if it's just for a few pictures. Explore the Palais Royal
This old palace is home to the king's office and features hundreds of artifacts, paintings and photographs of the royal dynasty in Belgium. When the King of Brussels is visiting, you will see the national flag flying high outside the palace; you can take a tour of the grounds to see the remarkable facility and large collection of artifacts.

Take a Tour of the Coudenberg
Another palace that's worth exploring is the Coudenberg, one of the original palaces of Brussels that was built right where it stands strong today. This palace was built in the late 11th century, and was rebuilt and renovated several times over the next few hundred years. It's located at Place des Palais 7 in Brussels.

Walk Through the Basilica of the Sacred Heart
This historic church was built to commemorate Belgium's independence in 1905, and is a beautiful church that's also the world's largest Art Deco building. You can take an elevator ride to the dome of the Basilica to see some breathtaking views of the city. It's located on Avenue E. Bossaert in Brussels.

Listen to the Classics at the Musee des Instruments de Musique
This museum houses over 1500 instruments and is tucked inside one of the city's most historic buildings. You can take a guided tour of the grounds to learn about the different instruments from each century, and listen to classic music tracks from famous European composers. The museum is located at Rue Montagne de la Cour 2 in Brussels.
