German Village - this historic village features shops, restaurants and cultural hotspots reminiscent of Old World Germany. The 233-acre neighborhood has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and hosts dozens of special events, live performances and community gatherings throughout the year. Head here for a walking tour of cultural sites and attractions, and enjoy a meal at the Bierberg Bakery to mingle with the locals.

Bar of Modern Art - if you’re looking for an upscale experience as you explore historic architecture and artwork, make sure you reserve a seat at this art gallery and nightclub. The art and bar are located inside a transformed turn-of-the-century Baptist church on E. Broad Street, and it’s the place to see and be seen on any evening in the city.
