The park features a steel roller coaster, an original Merry-Go-Round, and a 140-foot drop tower ride so you can see the city from new heights. Unlimited rides and gate admission is $13.75 during the week, and $19.75 on weekends and holidays.
Children’s Museum of Denver – if you’re traveling with kids in tow, don’t miss the fun hands-on activities and science exhibits at the children’s museum. The venue features special programming for children and toddlers, along with interactive activites, crafts workshops and educational events. You can spend the entire day exploring fun exhibits such as Alphabet Soup, the Assembly Plant and Ready Vet Go! Tickets are $7.50 for all visitors between the ages of 2 and 59, and $5.50 for visitors who are 1 years old.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science – head to this grand mseum for an IMAX show, planeteraium adventure or explore dozens of hands-on science exhibits. The venue is home to more than 1 million objects curated in the Anthropology, Space Sciences, Zoology and Earth Sciences departments, and guided tours of the entire museum are available. Plan to spedn the entire day exploring this awe-inspiring venue; tickets are $11 for the museum and $8 for the IMAX theatre, but packages and discounts for group travel are available.
Elitch Gardens - if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, don’t miss the fun and excitement at Elitch Gardens, a classic theme park that’s been in operation since 1890. The venue features a water park, cartoon studio and dozens of thrill rides including the Mind Eraser, Halfpipe, Shipwreck Falls and the Tower of Doom. Head here for an entire day of entertainment and rides.
