Seattle Art Museum - located in the heart of downtown Seattle, this upscale venue is the perfect place to explore America’s history, learn about Asian art and cultural events, and explore modern and contemporary works of local and national artists. The museum is also home to the famous Olympic Sculpture Park and SAM Gallery where you can rent or purchase art work for the home or office. Tickets are $13 for adults and $7 for students and youth between the ages of 13 and 17.
Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour - a must-stop on any visit to the city, this tour tells the story of how Pioneer Square was saved by Bill Speidel and his wife. Bill Speidel founded the attraction in 1965 as a by-product of his campaign to preserve the square, and the tour is a leisurely stroll beneath Seattle’s sidewalks and streets; it begins at Doc Maynard’s Public House, a late 19th century restored saloon. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children and can be purchased online.
The Museum of Flight - aviation enthusiasts of all ages are sure to enjoy the guided tours and exhibits at this museum dedicated entirely to the history of flight, space and airplanes. Collections include artifacts and photographs at the Dahlberg Aviation Research Center, along with aircraft restoration projects and spacecraft models located on site. Tickets are just $14 for adults and $7.50 for youth.
Ride the Ducks of Seattle - explore downtown Seattle and jump into the lakes with a ride on the famous Seattle Ducks. The classic World War II vehicles will take you across historic Pioneer Square, through Pike Place Market and downtown Seattle so you can enjoy several sites and attractions and see the city skyline from a fresh perspective. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 years and younger.
Pacific Science Center - Take in an IMAX movie or explore dozens of hands-on exhibits at this venue that’s become a favorite attraction for visitors and locals alike. The venue features a planetarium, laser shows and special camps and events throughout the year. The center is open year round, and package prices cost $10 - $15+ depending on exhibits, IMAX shows and other special programs.
