The Hilton Garden Inn Eagan is a moderately-priced hotel near the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.  Though it does not have many of the luxuries that people often associate with the Hilton brand, it does have elements that make it stand out over other moderately-priced hotels in the area.  The ceilings in the guestrooms are higher than average, there is a pool and a modern fitness center.  Rooms are furnished with extras like refrigerators and microwaves.  

Hotel reviews rave about the small but unexpected extras at the Garden Inn.  There is complimentary wireless internet access throughout the hotel.  The 25-inch TVs are connected to Playstation video game consoles and guests can play games for free.  The 24-hour business center rounds out the list of amenities and makes this one of the better hotel deals near the airport.

The Mall of America is only nine miles away and can be reached quickly via local highways.  The mall is one of the country's largest and features an indoor amusement park in addition to hundreds of shops.  The Minnesota Zoo, the largest in the Upper Midwest, is only four miles from the Hilton's front door.  Main attractions there include a brown bear habitat, a shark reef and a working farm.      

Downtown Saint Paul is 10 miles away.  The Science Museum of Minnesota and the Xcel Energy Center are located in this district.  The Xcel hosts home games for the NHL's Minnesota Wild, as well as concerts and cultural events.
