The Emily Morgan Hotel is a historic, moderately-priced hotel in Downtown San Antonio.  It was named after the woman who was the subject of the famous song "The Yellow Rose of Texas."  The hotel was built in Gothic Revival style in 1926.  At that time, it was the tallest building west of the Mississippi River.  A 2001 renovation thoroughly updated the property and made it one of the most popular hotels in Downtown San Antonio.  The modernized interior décor brings a boutique flair to this moderately-priced hotel.  In-room features like feather-top beds, Jacuzzis and views of the Alamo make this one of Downtown's best hotel deals.
