The Hotel Indigo is a budget hotel in the heart of Scottsdale.  Though it has plenty of luxuries, the fact that rooms start at just $99 per night puts this hotel in the budget hotel range, especially when compared to Scottsdale's 5-star resorts.  However, hotel reviews often state that guests at the Indigo do not give up much by choosing this hotel over a more expensive, more expansive resort.  

The Indigo boasts free wi-fi throughout the hotel, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a classy indoor/outdoor lounge called the Divine Lounge and Terrace.  One of the extras that make the Indigo a real hotel deal is the fact that it provides shuttle service to attractions within a 3-mile radius of the hotel.  

Attractions that fall within that 3-mile radius include the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, the nightlife venues and restaurants of the Scottsdale Waterfront, and the tourist haven of Old Town.  Fashion Square is one of the largest malls in the country and boasts shops that cater to every budget range.  Old Town is a western-themed neighborhood with art galleries and souvenir shops.  Though it is aimed at tourists and has a bit of a theme park vibe, it is a pleasant experience and a good place to pick up a few souvenirs.  

Some of the hippest and most popular clubs in Phoenix metro are located in Scottsdale, mainly in the downtown area.
