The Grand Hyatt boasts classic Pacific Northwest styling with an Asian flair.  This moderately-priced hotel is one of the city's largest, with 425 rooms.  However, there are some intimate details that make this particular Hyatt experience a good one.  

Original artwork is found in most rooms.  Rooms also have a private entry foyer and the Hyatt's trademark "Grand" beds.  And, as with most major hotels in the city, Hyatt takes advantage of Seattle's skyline, earning rave hotel reviews by providing views of the cityscapes of downtown Seattle as well as panoramas of  Puget Sound.  

Extras that make this a truly good hotel deal include the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Lounge and the full service Elaia Spa.  The internet can be accessed wirelessly from inside the hotel's 24-hour business center, a rare feature among moderately-priced hotels.  

The Grand Hyatt is centrally located in the heart of Seattle.  The Seattle Space Needle is nearby, as are landmarks like Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, and the Seattle Waterfront.  The Space Needle has an observation deck with a viewing area and a restaurant.  Though the dining is decidedly upscale, a meal includes access the observation deck itself (a $21 value).

Also within a mile of the Grand Hyatt is the Experience Music Project, an interactive music museum that is the brain-child of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, is housed in a space designed by famed architect Frank Gehry.  Visitors can play instruments and experience what it is like to be onstage during a rock concert.
