Seward Suites is a relatively new budget hotel attached to the Seward Apartments in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. The Suites have private balconies, full kitchens, granite desk tops, and plush furniture. Flat screen TVs with DVD players are found in every suite. A full library of DVDs is available for rental. Seward earns high marks when it comes to hotel reviews because of it has all the amenities of an apartment for the price of a budget hotel. Rates start at $99 per night, and there are also monthly rates available (averaging $1600 per month).
Add to the "comforts of home" amenities that fact that there are panoramic views of Seattle and the Olympic Mountains from the balconies of the rooms located on the upper floors of the building. This is one of the best hotel deals outside of Seattle's Downtown area.
Capitol Hill is one of the most diverse and historic neighborhoods in Seattle. Aside from a respectable collection of coffee shops, restaurants, and theaters, some of the largest and oldest houses in the city are found along Capitol Hill's tree-lined streets.
Volunteer Park is not only a bastion of nature in the middle of the city; it is also home to a large conservatory and the Seattle Asian Art Museum, which is located in a classic 1930s building.
Visitors can keep up to date with the latest Capitol Hill attractions and events at the neighborhood's official blog and get more general information from the Seattle Convention and Visitor's Bureau here.
