The 26-storey W Hotel, located in the heart of the city, is one of Seattle's most recognizable landmarks.  This boutique luxury hotel offers warmly decorated yet hip rooms.  The dark wood and stone bring to mind the natural settings that the Pacific Northwest is so famous for.  The rooms also have comforting extras like the W franchise's pillow-top beds, designer comforters, and classic bath robes (a must for any high-end hotel experience). The 32-inch LCD TV is an example of cutting-edge technology, while the W's book collection lends a classic edge to the in-house entertainment options.  

The W has truly unique features.  Unlike many other luxury hotels, pets are made to feel welcome at W Seattle.  Hotel reviews often cite other luxuries as reasons for high marks.  These include in-room shiatsu massages, a lobby with velvet couches, plenty of quiet corners, and an in-house library.  These features make the W one of Seattle's best hotel deals.  

The W Seattle is within walking distance of numerous attractions.  The Seattle Space Needle, the Experience Music Project and Pacific Science Center are all within a mile of the W's front door.  The Space Needle is probably Seattle's most recognizable landmark.  Tickets to the observation deck are $16, $21 for a day and night combo trip. The Seattle Art Museum (known as SAM to locals) is literally a few feet from the W.  The famous Seattle Aquarium is only a half mile away.  A $54 city pass gives visitors access to six city attractions including the aquarium, Space Needle, and harbor cruise.
