American providing flight status on cell phones
American Airlines said that it has recently upgraded its mobile web site to allow customers to check in for flights and view itineraries on web-enabled cell phones.
You’ll see the new service expansions this spring. What’s more, customers will be able to book flights, change reservations and request upgrades. The new mobile web site will have the capability to recognize mobile users and automatically redirect users to a mobile version of AA.com.
The content on the site will be more condensed, but will be easy to navigate through. This is great news for busy, business, and tech heavy travelers.
