Fun in the sun is closer than you think with Norwegian Sky.  The cruise company is hitting back at the falling economy by offering vacationers the rock bottom deal of just $169 for a four night Bahamas cruise.  That means that you will pay only $42 per night for this trip from Miami, Florida to the ports of Freeport, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.

This amazing price is limited to off season travel in November and is for the inside cabins on the ship.  Balcony cabins will cost $369 and Ocean View cabins are only $199.  The prices are based on double occupancy so be sure to get a friend to join you on your adventure.

The Norwegian Sky is one of the Sky Class ships of the Norwegian Cruise Line.  It was refurbished in 2008 and features two pools, a basketball court, golf driving range area and much more for passengers to enjoy.

There are some limits to the promotion and the listed price does not include any taxes, transfer fees, onboard service charges or other personal expenditures.  Families that are considering a cruise as a budget stretching vacation alternative should remember that children of all ages (including infants) are considered passengers and must purchase a ticket.

Cruises are a great way to get a taste of a number of different locations at a reasonable price.  It also takes the burden off of trying to find local locations to eat or having to cook meals in a strange facility.  Cruises can be a great way to ease the stress of a vacation and also the pains on the wallet.

Before signing up for any vacation package it is important to take the time to read the terms and conditions.  Understand the exchange or cancelation policy completely.  It may also be a good idea to look into travel insurance to cover the costs of your reservations.
