Everything is bigger in Texas and that includes the events and activities that pack the summer months in Dallas, Texas. There is plenty of music, sports, and unique activities to keep you beating the heat all summer long.

The Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games is held at Maverick Stadium just outside Dallas each June. The colors, the clothes, the music and the games will all make you think you have taken a turn back in time and around the globe. There is a special area just for the kids.

Shakespeare in the Park is the second oldest, non-profit Shakespeare festival in the country. It offers some of the top selections of the Bard's greatest creations. You are invited to bring a picnic when you attend.
