Celebrity Cruise Lines Offers Flexible Dining Program

Friday, September 18th, 2009

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled a flexible dining program so that guests can choose when they dine on a daily basis, instead of adhering to a set meal plan. The Celebrity Select Dining program gives guests a chance to make their daily dining reservations when they book their cruise, but can head to their designated dining room any time they want. Cruise travelers can still enjoy the same service as the traditional seating arrangement, and will still be seated in the Main Dining Room.

The key benefit of this flexible dining program is that guests will have the opportunity to plan their meals around a day of activities. They can book spa treatments, head to the fitness center, or spend time golfing without having to worry about missing their dining reservation in the Main Dining Room. The menus will remain the same, and guests can simply head to the main dining area between 6 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. to enjoy their meal.

Reservations for this plan can be made while the guest is onboard, but Celebrity Cruises is encouraging guests to book their reservation ahead of time to guarantee their spot in the dining room. Guests can pre-book their dining itinerary by visiting www.celebritycruises.com and entering in their personal information and booking confirmation codes. Reservations can be made online up to four days prior to sailing, or onboard with the assistance of a Maitre’d.

Guest sailing on the Celebrity Equinox with departures beginning on September 26, 2009 will be the first cruise travelers that will be granted the option of the Celebrity Select Dining program. The remainder of the ships will be offering the program by the first quarter of 2010. The price for this service will remain the same as the traditional dining experience, and ultimately gives guests much more flexibility with when mapping out their cruise itineraries.
