Dallas, Texas has big entertainment, big hospitality and big events - after all, everything is bigger in Texas.  The fall months are packed with unique events that are sure to delight everyone in the family.

Grapefest is held in the Grapeville Historic District.  The event celebrates the regions wines and offers wine tasting, food samples, live entertainment and arts and crafts.

The Greek Food Festival of Dallas is the perfect time to experience the Greek Islands in the heart of Texas.  It features musical entertainment, dancing and lots of great food.  The three day event offers raffles, family fun and great costumes.

The Great Pumpkin Festival Begins in the Fall, runs through the entire month of October, and ends in the first half of November.  The event is held at the Dallas Arboretum which offers 66 acres filled with fall blooming flowers and fall foliage colors.  There is also a hay bale maze, pumpkin carving and hands-on activities for the whole family.

The State Fair of Texas has something for everyone.  There is a car show, Daredevil performances, light shows, parades and plenty of live entertainment.  There is even an area dedicated to the children.  Enjoy the many competitions (including traditional eating competitions), displays, exhibits and so much more.

If you can't take the heat then stay away from ZestFest.  This event is definitely the hottest party in Texas, if not in the entire United States.  It features salsa, hot sauce and most anything that has a peppery kick.  There are live cooking shows, plenty of samples, and liver entertainment.

Dallas is a great place for the whole family to come out and enjoy the fall season. There are a wide variety of events and activities that are sure to please everyone in one way or another.
