East Coast travel hit hard with bad weather
The latest winter storm in the Northeast has created several inches of snow, creating headaches for holiday travelers at Logan International Airport in Boston.
Amidst one of the busiest travel days during the holidays, 36 arriving/departing flights were canceled Friday morning at Logan International. The airport saw more minor delays on other flights. What's more, more than 150 flights were canceled the previous day on Thursday.
Northeastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire were hit hard, seeing almost 9 inches of snow in some areas. The Federal Aviation Administration also reported major delays for those traveling in and out of Salt Lake City International Airport due to snow and ice.
