Travel to London from San Diego or Fort Lauderdale

Discount carrier Zoom Airlines just announced that it's adding service to London Gatwick from both Fort Lauderdale and San Diego.

The overseas carrier said it will administer two weekly flights in both routes. Service in San Diego will begin in June, and Fort Lauderdale in May.

From a press release earlier this month, Zoom claims it will be the "first scheduled airline in 10 years to offer flights from any European airport" to Fort Lauderdale. What's more, Zoom proclaims that once the San Diego service starts, it will "offer the only direct non-stop air service" to Europe from the city.
